Cameron Love:

Hi there,

I previously asked about the Picstore service in another thread on the forum and you said you were developing it, along with changes to the ClipStore and your reply was:
"Hey Cameron
We will add the "limited" view for ClipStore Studio accounts, no problem. I have added it to our workflow list. The PicStore to sell images is coming soon and will hopefully have this integrated towards the end of May.
We are currently adding new features to LiveCam and the admin panels. We are adding instant payment so clients don't have to leave the webcam session in order to top up with credits. This is known as velocity payments. We are also adding statistics and will email studios analytics of their performers i.e. how much money they have made, how many clients they have had and how long they have been online for. We will also include a comparison to the previous week.
This should all be live within the next month and then we will focus on the PicStore ."

I see that you have now finished adding statistics and customer lists to the services you offer, so I wondered if you were now working on the other services like PicStore still or if it had been abandoned, and if you are still working on it, when the new ETA for its release may be, seeing as the May deadline passed a couple of months ago?
Many thanks

Hi Cameron

The PicStore software had to be put on hold as we are redeveloping our LiveCam software to include much more features and bring it more up to date for mobile and table devices. The PicStore is definitely something we want to do but our current software takes priority.

We should be launching the new LiveCam software updates towards the beginning of August. We will then be updating ClipStore to include larger file uploads, much much quicker file uploads and as you mentioned the ability to limit performers view to just videos and not display the html code.

We are working very quickly through all of our new changes but, like with anything we do run into stumbling blocks which push deadlines back. It doesn't help that Apple keep changing how videos are displayed on iPhones and iPads ;(

That is absolutely fine. I just wanted to know if it was still in development because I wish to offer it but obviously would prefer to use your service as I already incorporate your other services, than start having other 3rd party payment methods to offer it. It is so good having it all under one roof so to speak.

I am pleased that you are continually developing the LiveCams side too. Anything that makes the process simpler and easier while offering more fantastic features has got to be a good thing.

And thank you for considering my Clipstore feature, I think that benefits studios a lot. One of the reasons I prefer to limit access to the HTML, and something you may not be aware off as a bug, is that when you allow operators access to the HTML on LiveCams/Call Connect, you are using a generic domain so they can paste it anywhere they like without knowing the company (Webstream) is delivering the service rather than the Studio, but there is a bug that if they change the cosmetic styling such as button colour or shape, it actually replaces the generic domain you now use, to a Webstream domain that shows the operators where to sign up with you directly, cutting out the Studio middleman. So I prefer to limit them completely as I provide the site with the buttons already set up on it for them and do not want them cutting out my middleman percentage by going to you directly.
Like I said, if you want to replicate the bug, just go to the models Livecam/Callconnect page where the HTML button code is and change some of the colour options/styles for the button and it will change the code but also change the domain back to Webstream domain name in the code.

I hope this helps :)
